Veteran Bollywood actor Nana Patekar, known for his candid nature, began his career at the young age of 13 by painting film posters and cutouts on Mumbai's streets. This was due to his family facing financial difficulties after his father's business closed when he was in 9th grade. He completed his schooling while working and later pursued a diploma in Commercial Arts from Mumbai's Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Art.
