Sriganganagar police have arrested a 22-year-old man, Gurvinder Singh, in connection with a drug and arms trafficking network. Following his detention for possessing a pistol and cartridges, police recovered approximately 500 grams of methamphetamine from his residence. Singh is allegedly linked to two individuals based in the UK who directed his operations. Investigators are examining claims of large-scale trafficking of opium, meth, and weapons, and exploring potential drone usage with Pakistani handlers. Passbooks for over 60 bank accounts in Punjab were also seized as part of the money laundering probe.
