Motorists living within 20 km of a National Highway toll plaza may soon benefit from reduced toll expenses. Starting November 1, 2026, eligible owners of non-commercial vehicles can purchase a Concessional Local Pass for an annual fee of Rs 1,500 or Rs 3,000, depending on the toll plaza's location. However, eligibility is not automatic and requires a valid FASTag, adherence to a specific toll plaza, and exclusion from closed systems or areas with alternative routes.
