नीति आयोग ने 2035 तक भारत की बायोइकॉनमी को 691 अरब डॉलर तक पहुंचाने का रोडमैप जारी किया है। स्वास्थ्य सेवा, कृषि, औद्योगिक बायोटेक्नोलॉजी और रोग निगरानी पर छह राष्ट्रीय पहलें केंद्रित होंगी। इन प्रयासों के लिए 50,000 करोड़ रुपये के ग्रोथ फंड का प्रस्ताव है। इस योजना का लक्ष्य बायोटेक्नोलॉजी का उपयोग करके आर्थिक विकास और जन कल्याण को बढ़ावा देना है।
