Hospital Ceiling Collapses, No Injuries Reported

A section of the false ceiling at the Government Women and Children Hospital in Palakkad collapsed on Tuesday morning, fortunately causing no injuries. The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. as patients and caregivers waited for OP tickets. This is the second ceiling collapse at the hospital this month, following a similar incident on August 13. Protesting CPI workers demanded immediate repairs and safety checks, calling off their blockade after assurances of swift action.

अस्पताल की छत गिरी, कोई घायल नहीं

पालक्काड के सरकारी महिला एवं बाल अस्पताल में मंगलवार सुबह फॉल्स सीलिंग का एक हिस्सा गिर गया। गनीमत रही कि किसी को चोट नहीं आई। यह घटना सुबह करीब 7:30 बजे हुई जब मरीज़ और उनके साथ आए लोग ओपीडी टिकट का इंतज़ार कर रहे थे। इसी महीने यह दूसरी घटना है, इससे पहले 13 अगस्त को भी सीलिंग गिरी थी। विरोध कर रहे CPI कार्यकर्ताओं ने तुरंत मरम्मत और सुरक्षा जांच की मांग की।
