Indian Economy Strong, But Global Factors Delay Foreign Investor Return

TV9 Hindi · stocks

Despite a strong domestic economy and good June quarter corporate results, Indian stock markets face ongoing pressure from global factors. Rising crude oil prices and US bond yields, along with US-Iran tensions, have deterred foreign institutional investors from returning. This has led to nine consecutive weeks of market decline, wiping out significant investor wealth. While domestic demand remains stable and companies have maintained profit margins, the overall market recovery is now expected to be delayed by several months due to these international economic headwinds.
