Man Gets 10-Year Jail Term For Acid Attack On Youth

An Ernakulam additional district and sessions court has sentenced a 51-year-old man, Bony, to 10 years imprisonment and a Rs 10,000 fine for an acid attack. The incident occurred, in Fort Kochi, where Bony attacked Shednov Antony with acid. The victim suffered severe vision loss in both eyes as a result of the brutal assault. The Fort Kochi Police registered the case under Section 326 (A) of the Indian Penal Code, leading to this significant jail sentence.
