Delhi's Last Red DTC Bus Retired

The last red CNG-run DTC bus in Delhi has been retired after completing its 15-year service life, marking the end of an era for the iconic vehicles. Bus number DL 1PD 4038 ran over 9.27 lakh km from September 2011. Its retirement also signifies the end of DTC's own bus fleet, with all buses now managed by private concessionaires. These buses offered commuters air-conditioning, low floors, and automated doors, significantly improving the travel experience.

दिल्ली की आखिरी लाल सीएनजी DTC बस ने 15 साल की सेवा पूरी कर ली है। यह बस 2011 से 9.27 लाख किलोमीटर से ज़्यादा चली। इसके रिटायर होने से DTC का अपना बस बेड़ा खत्म हो गया है, अब सब कुछ प्राइवेट कंपनियों के पास है। ये बसें एसी, लो-फ्लोर और ऑटोमैटिक दरवाजों वाली थीं, जिनसे सफर आसान हो गया था।
