Indian Students Prefer Notes Over AI For Deep Learning: Survey

A recent HP Futures 2026 Global Survey reveals that while Indian students use AI for speed in studies, they rely on handwritten or printed notes for deep learning and retention. 82% of students expressed this preference, also voicing concerns that AI might hinder their ability to deeply understand and learn study material. The survey, which included 758 Indian students among over 6,000 global participants, also found that 78% believe AI will create new job opportunities rather than eliminate existing ones.

HP Futures 2026 ग्लोबल सर्वे के मुताबिक, भारतीय छात्र पढ़ाई में तेज़ी के लिए AI का इस्तेमाल करते हैं, लेकिन गहरी समझ और याद रखने के लिए हाथ से लिखे या प्रिंटेड नोट्स पर भरोसा करते हैं। 82% छात्रों ने यह पसंद जताई, साथ ही चिंता भी जताई कि AI पढ़ाई की सामग्री को गहराई से समझने और सीखने की उनकी क्षमता में बाधा डाल सकता है। इस सर्वे में 6,000 से ज़्यादा वैश्विक प्रतिभागियों में 758 भारतीय छात्र शामिल थे, जिसमें यह भी पाया गया कि 78% का मानना है कि AI मौजूदा नौकरियों को खत्म करने के बजाय नए अवसर पैदा करेगा।
