A California realtor, Wanying Zhang, has been arrested at Los Angeles Airport for allegedly acting as an unregistered agent for China. She is accused of surveilling the son and family of Taiwan's President Lai Ching-te, including filming their home and vehicles. Zhang reportedly sent photos, videos, and license plate information to Chinese officials via WeChat. The FBI stated she surveilled the president's son and his family in the US. Taiwan's Presidential Office condemned the alleged acts and thanked US authorities for their assistance.
