Air France to Comply with Israeli Rule Barring Crew From Certain Nations

Air France has confirmed it will adhere to new Israeli restrictions that prohibit airline crew from specific nationalities from flying into Israel. The Israeli directive, reportedly issued on October 1, lists 31 Muslim-majority countries whose nationals are barred from entering Israeli airspace. Air France stated that like all airlines, it must comply with the entry regulations of countries it serves for both passengers and employees. This policy could potentially lead to discrimination lawsuits against airlines. Other airlines, like Smartwings, have also acknowledged receiving the directive and stated they will comply.
