Lucknow's historic 400-year-old Katki Mela, also known as Budakki ka Mela, will commence at Jhulelal Vatika on the Gomti riverbank, continuing. The fair, traditionally starting on Kartik Purnima, is renowned for traditional goods like earthenware, crockery, and household items, alongside food stalls and children's rides. The Lucknow Municipal Corporation has approved a tender of Rs 4.61 crore for the upcoming edition, a significant increase from the previous year's Rs 2.77 crore.

लखनऊ का ऐतिहासिक 400 साल पुराना कतकी मेला, जिसे बुडक्की का मेला भी कहते हैं, गोमती नदी के किनारे झूलेलाल वाटिका में शुरू होगा। यह मेला, जो पारंपरिक रूप से कार्तिक पूर्णिमा पर शुरू होता है, मिट्टी के बर्तन, क्रॉकरी और घरेलू सामानों जैसे पारंपरिक सामानों के लिए मशहूर है, साथ ही खाने के स्टॉल और बच्चों के झूले भी होते हैं। लखनऊ नगर निगम ने आगामी मेले के लिए 4.61 करोड़ रुपये की निविदा को मंजूरी दी है, जो पिछले साल के 2.77 करोड़ रुपये से काफी ज्यादा है।
