Vedanta Group Aims for $20 Billion Profit in Two Years

Vedanta Group chairman Anil Agarwal announced ambitious targets, aiming for $50 billion in revenue and $20 billion in profits over the next two years. This year, the company expects to achieve $30 billion in revenue and $11 billion in profits. The diversified commodities producer has interests in sectors including aluminium, zinc, and oil and gas. Vedanta Aluminium recently reported a more than doubling of its net profit year-on-year to ₹6,187 crore for the September quarter, with revenue rising 41% to ₹22,066 crore.
