Union Home Minister Amit Shah has accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of spreading falsehoods regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Shah stated that Gandhi is using the issue to deflect from the Congress party's consistent election defeats and to protect "infiltrators" allegedly registered as voters. He asserted that Gandhi himself is responsible for the Congress's electoral failures, citing decades of poor performance in several states. Shah also highlighted recent BJP victories in local body polls, including those using ballot papers, as a lesson for Gandhi.

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी पर चुनावी पर्चियों के विशेष गहन संशोधन (SIR) को लेकर झूठी बातें फैलाने का आरोप लगाया है। शाह ने कहा कि गांधी कांग्रेस पार्टी की लगातार चुनावी हार से ध्यान भटकाने और कथित तौर पर मतदाताओं के रूप में पंजीकृत "घुसपैठियों" को बचाने के लिए इस मुद्दे का इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि गांधी खुद कई राज्यों में दशकों के खराब प्रदर्शन का हवाला देते हुए कांग्रेस की चुनावी विफलताओं के लिए जिम्मेदार हैं। शाह ने गांधी को सबक सिखाने के लिए हाल ही में स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों में भाजपा की जीत का भी उल्लेख किया, जिनमें मतपत्रों का भी इस्तेमाल किया गया था।
