CAQM की एक उच्च-स्तरीय टीम ने धान की कटाई के दौरान पराली जलाने से रोकने के उपायों की समीक्षा के लिए पंजाब के मोगा जिले का दौरा किया। CAQM के सदस्य डॉ. टी.एस. पंवार के नेतृत्व में टीम ने जिला अधिकारियों से मुलाकात की और संवेदनशील गांवों का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने फसल अवशेष प्रबंधन मशीनों, निगरानी प्रणालियों और अंतर-विभागीय समन्वय का आकलन किया। आयोग ने पराली जलाने की घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए निरंतर निगरानी और समय पर कार्रवाई पर जोर दिया, जो दिल्ली के वायु प्रदूषण में एक महत्वपूर्ण योगदानकर्ता है।
