Big tech firms are projected to invest over $1 trillion in AI infrastructure by 2027, driven by escalating demand for computing power that outstrips current supply. This surge in investment is expected to contribute significantly to US economic growth, adding approximately 0.75 percentage points to GDP in the first half of 2026. However, companies face increasing financing pressures as cash flows weaken due to rising expenses. The report also noted limited evidence of AI significantly impacting overall productivity or widespread job displacement thus far.

बड़ी टेक कंपनियां 2027 तक AI इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर में 1 ट्रिलियन डॉलर से ज़्यादा निवेश करने वाली हैं। इसकी वजह कंप्यूटिंग पावर की बढ़ती मांग है जो मौजूदा सप्लाई से ज़्यादा है। इस निवेश से अमेरिकी अर्थव्यवस्था को काफी बढ़ावा मिलेगा, 2026 की पहली छमाही में GDP में करीब 0.75% की बढ़ोतरी होगी। लेकिन, बढ़ती लागतों के कारण कैश फ्लो कमजोर होने से कंपनियों पर फाइनेंस का दबाव बढ़ रहा है। रिपोर्ट में यह भी कहा गया है कि अब तक AI का प्रोडक्टिविटी या नौकरियों पर कोई खास असर नहीं दिखा है।
