Teeth Reveal Origins of Africans Rescued From Slave

A new study used tooth chemistry, ancient DNA, and historical records to uncover the childhood origins of 152 Africans rescued from illegal slave ships nearly 200 years ago. Researchers discovered these individuals hailed from various parts of Central Africa, many having endured extensive journeys before reaching the coast.

एक नई स्टडी में दांतों की केमिस्ट्री, पुराने DNA और ऐतिहासिक रिकॉर्ड का इस्तेमाल किया गया। इससे करीब 200 साल पहले अवैध दास जहाजों से बचाए गए 152 अफ्रीकियों के बचपन की जगहों का पता चला। रिसर्च में पता चला कि ये लोग मध्य अफ्रीका के अलग-अलग हिस्सों से थे। कई लोग तट पर पहुंचने से पहले लंबी यात्राएं कर चुके थे।
