A Long Island credit supervisor has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for wire fraud after diverting approximately $1.6 million over four years. Tony Ream, 35, used his access to customer refund accounts at a health care products company to funnel money into his own account, disguising the transfers as legitimate refunds. Prosecutors stated the stolen funds financed his wedding, international travel, and a failed restaurant venture. He was ordered to repay the full $1.6 million and pay a $1,000 fine.
