Despite price increases, two-wheeler and car sales saw a significant jump of around 30% in October compared to the previous month. Two-wheelers led the sales surge, with consumers opting for personal transport over crowded public options. While car sales were slower due to congestion and ongoing infrastructure projects, electric two-wheeler sales also saw an increase, with some dealers struggling to meet demand.

विशाखापत्तनम में दशहरे के दौरान 6,000 से ज़्यादा नई गाड़ियाँ, जिनमें कारें भी शामिल हैं, सड़कों पर उतरने की उम्मीद है, जो त्योहारी सीजन की बिक्री में तेज वृद्धि से प्रेरित है। कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी के बावजूद, अक्टूबर में पिछले महीने की तुलना में दोपहिया और कार की बिक्री में लगभग 30% की उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि देखी गई। दोपहिया वाहनों ने बिक्री में सबसे ज़्यादा उछाल दर्ज किया, क्योंकि उपभोक्ता भीड़भाड़ वाले सार्वजनिक विकल्पों के बजाय व्यक्तिगत परिवहन को प्राथमिकता दे रहे थे। जहाँ कारों की बिक्री भीड़भाड़ और चल रही बुनियादी ढांचा परियोजनाओं के कारण धीमी रही, वहीं इलेक्ट्रिक दोपहिया वाहनों की बिक्री में भी वृद्धि देखी गई, कुछ डीलरों को मांग पूरी करने में संघर्ष करना पड़ रहा था।
