Elderly Couple Dies by Suicide After Gifting 25 Acres to Sons, Left Destitute

An elderly couple in Telangana's Sangareddy district died by suicide after gifting their entire 25 acres of farmland and house to their three sons. Munge Narsa Reddy (88) and Anjamma (85) were left with no means to survive and struggled for food and shelter for the past two to three years. Despite approaching officials for the return of a small portion of land, their requests were denied. The couple reportedly relied on relatives and even government school meals for sustenance. Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances.
