Patna has experienced an 84% increase in temporary electricity connections for Durga Puja pandals over the last five years, growing from 365 in 2021 to 671 this year. Revenue from these connections has also surged by 82%, reaching ₹27.80 lakh, indicating a rising power demand during the festival. The Patna City electricity division saw the sharpest proportional rise, with pandal connections increasing six-fold. This trend reflects the expanding scale of Durga Puja celebrations in the state capital, with temporary metered connections crucial for meeting peak power needs.

पिछले पाँच सालों में पटना में दुर्गा पूजा पंडालों के लिए अस्थायी बिजली कनेक्शन में 84% की बढ़ोतरी हुई है, जो 2021 में 365 से बढ़कर इस साल 671 हो गया है। इन कनेक्शनों से होने वाली आय में भी 82% की वृद्धि हुई है, जो ₹27.80 लाख तक पहुँच गई है, जिससे त्योहार के दौरान बिजली की बढ़ती माँग का पता चलता है। पटना सिटी बिजली डिवीजन में सबसे तेज आनुपातिक वृद्धि देखी गई, जहाँ पंडाल कनेक्शन छह गुना बढ़ गए। यह रुझान राज्य की राजधानी में दुर्गा पूजा समारोहों के बढ़ते पैमाने को दर्शाता है, जिसमें अस्थायी मीटर वाले कनेक्शन चरम बिजली की जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं।
