Researchers suggest that dark matter could prevent minuscule black holes from evaporating within stars. These hypothetical black holes, each weighing approximately as much as a loaded semi-truck, would otherwise disappear quickly if isolated. The presence of dark matter is theorized to provide a stabilizing effect, allowing these small black holes to persist.
