Lawyers at the Allahabad High Court staged a protest on Wednesday, vandalising courtroom furniture after opposing the entry of Justice Ajay Bhanot. The incident occurred amid controversy over the judge's alleged misbehaviour during court proceedings on October 27. The High Court Bar Association submitted a representation to Chief Justice Arun Bhansali, accusing Justice Bhanot of humiliating an advocate and mocking a senior advocate. The association termed the alleged conduct contemptuous and urged the Chief Justice to take serious note of the matter.

इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट के वकीलों ने बुधवार को कोर्टरूम का फर्नीचर तोड़कर विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। उन्होंने जस्टिस अजय भनोट के प्रवेश का विरोध किया। यह घटना 27 अक्टूबर को कोर्ट की कार्यवाही के दौरान जज के कथित दुर्व्यवहार को लेकर हुए विवाद के बीच हुई। हाई कोर्ट बार एसोसिएशन ने चीफ जस्टिस अरुण भंसाली को एक ज्ञापन सौंपा, जिसमें जस्टिस भनोट पर एक वकील का अपमान करने और एक वरिष्ठ वकील का मज़ाक उड़ाने का आरोप लगाया गया। एसोसिएशन ने कथित आचरण को अपमानजनक बताया और चीफ जस्टिस से मामले पर गंभीरता से ध्यान देने का आग्रह किया।
