Mumbai has secured a spot among the world's top 10 cities for luxury residential property price growth. The city recorded a 6.2% annual increase in prime property values in the second quarter of 2026, placing it eighth globally out of 46 major real estate markets. This growth rate is more than double the global average of 2.6%. Bengaluru and New Delhi also saw significant annual price appreciation, ranking 12th and 17th respectively. Analysts attribute this surge to strong demand from high-net-worth individuals and limited supply in prime locations.
