The minister also suggested the opposition's concern stems from the removal of deceased individuals' names from voter lists, which previously facilitated fraudulent voting.

उत्तर प्रदेश के मंत्री ओम प्रकाश राजभर ने कथित वोट चोरी के संबंध में INDIA गठबंधन के विरोध प्रदर्शनों की आलोचना की है, और उनके नेताओं को 'खर्च हो चुकी गोलियां' कहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि जनता ने गठबंधन को खारिज कर दिया है और उनके पास अनियमितताओं का कोई सबूत नहीं है। राजभर ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार का बचाव किया, यह दावा करते हुए कि उन्होंने 1952 से चली आ रही स्थापित प्रक्रियाओं का पालन किया है। मंत्री ने यह भी सुझाव दिया कि विपक्ष की चिंता मतदाताओं की सूची से मृत व्यक्तियों के नाम हटाए जाने से उपजी है, जिसने पहले धोखाधड़ी वाले मतदान की सुविधा प्रदान की थी।
