FPIs Pull Rs 21,000 Crore From Indian Equities

Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) have withdrawn nearly Rs 20,974 crore from Indian equities in September so far, driven by global uncertainties, higher US interest rates, and elevated crude oil prices. This outflow follows substantial investments in July and August. The selling is attributed to factors like the narrowing yield differential between India and the US, Brent crude prices exceeding $100 a barrel, and a weakening rupee.

सितंबर में अब तक विदेशी पोर्टफोलियो निवेशकों (FPIs) ने भारतीय शेयर बाज़ारों से करीब ₹20,974 करोड़ निकाल लिए हैं। इसकी वजह वैश्विक अनिश्चितता, अमेरिका में बढ़ी ब्याज दरें और कच्चे तेल के ऊंचे दाम हैं। यह निकासी जुलाई और अगस्त में हुई भारी निवेश के बाद आई है। भारत और अमेरिका के बीच कम ब्याज दर का अंतर, ब्रेंट क्रूड का $100 प्रति बैरल से ऊपर जाना और रुपये का कमजोर होना भी इसके मुख्य कारण हैं।
