Centre to Consider Revamp of MC Road, Sabarimala

The Centre is likely to approve proposals for the renovation of Kerala's MC Road and the traditional Sabarimala route from Pandalam to Pamba under the PM Gati Shakti scheme. Public Works Minister P K Basheer stated that the Union government is ready to sanction more road development projects for the state. Discussions also included expediting land acquisition for the Kodungallur-Angamaly bypass and approving the Kothamangalam bypass alignment. Additionally, five works worth Rs 111.27 crore are expected to be sanctioned soon, reinforcing the Centre's commitment to Kerala's road infrastructure development.
