RBI Halves Banking System Liquidity Surplus

The Reserve Bank of India's actions, including bond sales and foreign exchange swaps, have significantly reduced the banking system's liquidity surplus. The surplus has fallen by 55% to 4.92 trillion rupees from a record 11.16 trillion rupees two weeks ago.
