Gurugram Exceeds Safe PM10 Levels For Seventh Consecutive Year

Gurugram and other southern Haryana cities have exceeded the permissible annual PM10 limit for seven years straight, according to data from the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air. Gurugram recorded an annual PM10 of 164.9 µg/m³ in 2026, far above the national standard of 60 µg/m³. Other cities like Ballabhgarh and Faridabad also reported high levels, with industrial areas like Dharuhera and Manesar seeing significant spikes.

सेंटर फॉर रिसर्च ऑन एनर्जी एंड क्लीन एयर के डेटा के मुताबिक, गुरुग्राम और दक्षिणी हरियाणा के अन्य शहरों में लगातार सात साल से PM10 की सालाना सीमा पार हो गई है। गुरुग्राम में 2026 में PM10 का सालाना स्तर 164.9 µg/m³ दर्ज किया गया, जो 60 µg/m³ के राष्ट्रीय मानक से काफी ज़्यादा है। बल्लभगढ़ और फरीदाबाद जैसे अन्य शहरों में भी उच्च स्तर की सूचना मिली, जबकि धारूहेड़ा और मानेसर जैसे औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों में काफी वृद्धि देखी गई।
