Former World No. 1 Rohan Bopanna will represent the Gurgaon Grand Slammers in the eighth season of the Tennis Premier League (TPL). The TPL Season 8 is scheduled to take place from December 8 to 13. Bopanna cited the league's growing competitiveness and team environment as reasons for his return. Other marquee players announced include Argentina's Roman Burruchaga for Kolkata Thunder Blades and Australia's Rinky Hijikata for Rajasthan Rangers.
