Flydubai Co-Pilot Assaulted Captain Before Emergency Landing: Saudi Probe

Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry has revealed that a preliminary investigation into a Flydubai flight's emergency landing found the pilot was assaulted by his co-pilot. The incident occurred on flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv, forcing an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Both the captain, identified as Indian national Smit Machchhar, and the co-pilot sustained injuries. The UAE's chief prosecutor has also launched a separate investigation into the cockpit altercation.
