An explosion at a chemical manufacturing unit in Gujarat's Bharuch district on Friday night killed five workers and injured five others. The blast occurred around 10 pm during a hydrogenation process at SynZeal Pharmachem in the Saykha GIDC area, triggering a toxic leak of methylene dichloride gas. The explosion was powerful enough to rip apart the reactor tank. Officials from DISH, GPCB, and police are investigating the cause of the incident. The deceased workers were identified, and the injured are receiving treatment.

गुजरात के भरूच जिले में शुक्रवार रात एक केमिकल बनाने वाली यूनिट में हुए धमाके में पांच मजदूरों की मौत हो गई और पांच अन्य घायल हो गए। यह धमाका सायखा GIDC इलाके में SynZeal Pharmachem में रात करीब 10 बजे हाइड्रोजनेशन प्रक्रिया के दौरान हुआ, जिससे मिथाइलीन डाइक्लोराइड गैस का जहरीला रिसाव हुआ। धमाका इतना जोरदार था कि रिएक्टर टैंक फट गया। DISH, GPCB और पुलिस के अधिकारी घटना के कारणों की जांच कर रहे हैं। मारे गए मजदूरों की पहचान कर ली गई है और घायलों का इलाज चल रहा है।
