Israeli digital advertising agency Discover-Tech allegedly ran a massive spy operation using online ads to track internet users and facilitate device hacking, according to Citizen Lab and Confiant. The firm's services provided access to ad platforms of major companies like Google and Yandex, potentially serving as a channel for espionage. Discover-Tech's ads, often disguised as promotions for ordinary products, reached over 120,000 websites and 75,000 apps.
