Jishad Shamsudeen, costume designer for 'Jailer 2', has clarified his earlier criticism regarding Mohanlal's limited screen presence. He stated his comments stemmed from disappointment as a devoted fan, not disrespect for the creative process. Shamsudeen emphasized his respect for filmmakers' decisions during editing and expressed admiration for Mohanlal. He had previously noted that three distinct looks and a trailer scene featuring the actor were excluded from the final film. Shamsudeen also mentioned that he would not participate in a sequel if such cuts continued.
