Delhi Police Detain Protesters and Bystanders in Connaught Place

Hundreds of police personnel fanned out across Connaught Place in New Delhi to detain protesters and bystanders following a demonstration called by AISA activist Neha Bora. Security forces formed human chains and pursued individuals, detaining them and escorting them to waiting buses. Even those claiming to be college students or content creators were apprehended. Police also stopped individuals suspected of trying to join the protest, with some bystanders questioning the demonstrations' basis. The detentions occurred despite the imposition of Section 163 of BNSS.

AISA की कार्यकर्ता नेहा बोरा द्वारा बुलाए गए विरोध प्रदर्शन के बाद सैकड़ों पुलिसकर्मियों ने नई दिल्ली के कनॉट प्लेस में प्रदर्शनकारियों और राहगीरों को हिरासत में लेने के लिए मोर्चा संभाला। सुरक्षा बलों ने मानव श्रृंखला बनाई और व्यक्तियों का पीछा कर उन्हें हिरासत में लेकर बसों में बिठाया। कॉलेज के छात्र या कंटेंट क्रिएटर होने का दावा करने वालों को भी पकड़ा गया। पुलिस ने उन लोगों को भी रोका जिन पर विरोध प्रदर्शन में शामिल होने का संदेह था, कुछ राहगीरों ने विरोध प्रदर्शन के आधार पर सवाल उठाए। BNSS की धारा 163 लागू होने के बावजूद यह हिरासत में लिया गया।
