World's Tallest Durga Temple in Begusarai Stands 221 Feet High

India's Begusarai is home to the world's tallest Durga temple, standing approximately 221 feet high across 11 floors and also known as 'Badki Mandir'. This sacred site has been making the same form of Goddess Durga's idol for nearly 100 years. Construction for this record-breaking temple began in 2009 and was completed by 2014-15. Devotees from across India visit this temple, believing their wishes are fulfilled here. During Vijayadashami, a grand 10-day festival with a large evening aarti takes place.

भारत के बेगूसराय में दुनिया का सबसे ऊंचा दुर्गा मंदिर है, जो लगभग 221 फीट ऊंचा है और 11 मंजिला है, इसे 'बड़की मंदिर' के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यह पवित्र स्थल लगभग 100 वर्षों से देवी दुर्गा की मूर्ति का उसी रूप में निर्माण कर रहा है। इस रिकॉर्ड-तोड़ मंदिर का निर्माण 2009 में शुरू हुआ और 2014-15 तक पूरा हो गया था। पूरे भारत से श्रद्धालु इस मंदिर में आते हैं, उनका मानना है कि उनकी मनोकामनाएं यहाँ पूरी होती हैं। विजयदशमी के दौरान, एक भव्य 10 दिवसीय उत्सव का आयोजन होता है जिसमें शाम को एक बड़ा आरती होता है।
