Pune Man Dies During Rajgad Fort Trek Suspected Cardiac Arrest

A 35-year-old man from Pune, Jidhnesh Sadashiv Khandalkar, died on Saturday afternoon while trekking to Rajgad fort. He collapsed near the entrance area along the Pal Budruk route, reportedly feeling dizzy. Despite immediate rescue efforts, including CPR by friends, trekkers, and locals, he could not be revived. He was transported to Velhe rural hospital where he was declared dead. A postmortem examination has been ordered to confirm the cause of death, and an accidental death case has been registered.

पुणे के 35 वर्षीय जिधनेश सदाशिव खांडळकर की शनिवार दोपहर राजगढ़ किले की चढ़ाई के दौरान मौत हो गई। वह पाल बुद्रुक मार्ग पर प्रवेश द्वार के पास अचानक चक्कर आने के बाद गिर गए। दोस्तों, ट्रेकर्स और स्थानीय लोगों द्वारा तुरंत बचाव के प्रयास किए गए, जिसमें CPR भी शामिल था, लेकिन उन्हें बचाया नहीं जा सका। उन्हें वेलहे ग्रामीण अस्पताल ले जाया गया जहाँ उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। मौत के कारण की पुष्टि के लिए पोस्टमार्टम का आदेश दिया गया है और एक आकस्मिक मृत्यु का मामला दर्ज किया गया है।
