BSE Enters Nifty 50, Wipro Exits

BSE Ltd. will join the Nifty 50 index from September 30, 2026, replacing IT firm Wipro Ltd. This change is part of the semi-annual index rebalancing by NSE. BSE's inclusion follows its strong six-month average free-float market capitalisation, which was significantly higher than Wipro's. The move is expected to attract substantial passive fund inflows into BSE shares. Conversely, Wipro may see outflows as index funds adjust their portfolios. Wipro shares have experienced a decline this year.

निफ्टी 50 में शामिल, विप्रो बाहर

बीएसई लिमिटेड 30 सितंबर 2026 से निफ्टी 50 इंडेक्स में शामिल होगा, और आईटी फर्म विप्रो लिमिटेड की जगह लेगा। यह बदलाव एनएसई द्वारा साल में दो बार होने वाले इंडेक्स रीबैलेंसिंग का हिस्सा है। बीएसई को उसके मजबूत छह महीने के औसत फ्री-फ्लोट मार्केट कैपिटलाइजेशन के बाद शामिल किया गया है, जो विप्रो से काफी अधिक था। इस कदम से बीएसई शेयरों में बड़ी मात्रा में पैसिव फंड का प्रवाह आने की उम्मीद है। इसके विपरीत, इंडेक्स फंड अपने पोर्टफोलियो को समायोजित करने के कारण विप्रो से फंड का बहिर्वाह देखा जा सकता है। विप्रो के शेयरों में इस साल गिरावट देखी गई है।
