India vs West Indies Series Sees Record Sixes Hit

Hindustan Times · sports

The ongoing five-match T20I series between India and West Indies has witnessed an extraordinary display of six-hitting, with 98 sixes already recorded across four matches. This remarkable tally means 35.40% of the total runs scored have come from boundaries. The series is pushing towards a new record for most sixes in a bilateral T20I contest, with the current ceiling at 120 from England's 2023 tour of the West Indies. Batters are increasingly deploying six-hitting as a skill throughout innings, not just in the final overs.
