Israeli Forces Kill Hamas Commander in Gaza

Israeli forces have killed Izz al-Din al-Beik, identified as the head of Hamas's armed wing in northern Gaza. Palestinian sources and Israeli officials confirmed the strike, which targeted an apartment building in Gaza City's Nassr neighbourhood. Al-Beik had taken command of the Qassam Brigades in northern Gaza during a period of conflict, succeeding another senior commander. The Israeli Prime Minister and Defence Minister jointly announced the military operation that resulted in his death.
