Prachiti Nagpurkar, a chartered accountant from Maharashtra, has made history by becoming India's first mixed martial arts referee at the Asian Games 2026. She officiated a semifinal bout during MMA's debut at the continental event in Aichi-Nagoya. Nagpurkar, who has been training in MMA since 2019 and owns a gym in Mumbai, pursued her passion after leaving her accounting career. महाराष्ट्र की चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट प्राचिता नागपुरकर ने इतिहास रच दिया है। वह एशियन गेम्स 2026 में भारत की पहली मिक्स्ड मार्शल आर्ट्स रेफरी बन गई हैं। उन्होंने ऐची-नागोया में MMA के डेब्यू मुकाबले में एक सेमीफ़ाइनल मैच में रेफरी की भूमिका निभाई। 2019 से MMA ट्रेनिंग कर रहीं प्राचिता ने अकाउंटिंग छोड़कर अपने जुनून को चुना।
