कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता कपिल सिब्बल ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट से गहरी निराशा जताई है। उन्होंने कहा कि मतदाता सूची के मुद्दों पर उनकी दलीलें सुनने के बाद भी उन्हें कोई राहत नहीं मिली, जिससे उनका विश्वास उठ गया है। बार-बार सुप्रीम कोर्ट जाने से वे थक चुके हैं। वहीं, सीजेपी प्रमुख अभिजीत दीपके जंतर मंतर पर विरोध प्रदर्शन करने पर अड़े हैं, भले ही सरकार ने कोई दूसरी जगह तय की हो। सीजेपी, जो पहले छात्र मुद्दों पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर रही थी, अब मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त के इस्तीफे की मांग कर रही है और विपक्षी दलों के साथ खड़ी है।
