Azam Khan Gets Bail in Fake Certificate Case, But Conviction Stands

The Allahabad High Court has granted bail to Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan and his son Abdullah Azam Khan in a case involving fake PAN cards and birth certificates. While their conviction in the matter remains, the court suspended the sentence, allowing Khan's potential release from jail after serving over four years. However, the conviction's continuation means Khan remains disqualified from contesting elections under the Representation of the People Act. Over 81 cases are still pending against Khan, with 44 against his son.
