Sudha Dairy Opens 20,000-Litre Plant in Assam, Strengthening Northeast Presence

Sudha Milk, owned by Bihar State Milk Cooperative Federation Ltd (Comfed), has inaugurated a new 20,000-litre-per-day milk processing plant in Kanyaka Dairy, Assam. This facility in Jamugurihat, Tezpur, aims to bolster Sudha product supply and expand its regional distribution network in the Northeast. Comfed has been operating in Assam since 2018, currently marketing various products through approximately 2,200 retail vendors in Guwahati. The cooperative is also planning to establish its own larger dairy processing unit in Assam with a proposed capacity of one lakh litres per day.

बिहार स्टेट मिल्क कोऑपरेटिव फेडरेशन लिमिटेड (कॉम्फेड) के स्वामित्व वाले सुधा मिल्क ने असम के कन्याका डेरी में प्रतिदिन 20,000 लीटर दूध प्रसंस्करण क्षमता वाले एक नए प्लांट का उद्घाटन किया है। तेजपुर के जमुगुरीहाट में स्थित यह सुविधा पूर्वोत्तर में सुधा उत्पादों की आपूर्ति को मजबूत करने और अपने क्षेत्रीय वितरण नेटवर्क का विस्तार करने का लक्ष्य रखती है। कॉम्फेड 2018 से असम में काम कर रहा है, और वर्तमान में गुवाहाटी में लगभग 2,200 खुदरा विक्रेताओं के माध्यम से विभिन्न उत्पादों का विपणन कर रहा है। सहकारी समिति असम में प्रतिदिन एक लाख लीटर की प्रस्तावित क्षमता वाली अपनी स्वयं की बड़ी डेयरी प्रसंस्करण इकाई स्थापित करने की भी योजना बना रही है।
