Brics Parliamentary Forum To Discuss AI Ethics, Global Challenges Next Week

India will host the Brics Parliamentary Forum on October 26-27, focusing on pressing global challenges and the ethical use of artificial intelligence. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla stated the meeting will also cover cooperation for lawmaker capacity building. The forum follows the September Brics Summit, where India helped bridge differences between Iran and the UAE. Four plenary sessions will address resilience, innovation, cooperation, and sustainability amidst geopolitical and geo-economic turbulence. Interactions between parliamentarians from Brics and partner countries are also planned.

भारत 26-27 अक्टूबर को ब्रिक्स संसदीय मंच की मेज़बानी करेगा, जिसमें अहम वैश्विक चुनौतियों और आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस के नैतिक उपयोग पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाएगा। लोकसभा अध्यक्ष ओम बिरला ने कहा कि इस बैठक में सांसदों की क्षमता निर्माण के लिए सहयोग पर भी चर्चा होगी। यह मंच सितंबर में हुए ब्रिक्स शिखर सम्मेलन के बाद हो रहा है, जहाँ भारत ने ईरान और यूएई के बीच मतभेदों को दूर करने में मदद की थी। चार पूर्ण सत्रों में भू-राजनीतिक और भू-आर्थिक उथल-पुथल के बीच लचीलापन, नवाचार, सहयोग और स्थिरता जैसे मुद्दों पर बात होगी। ब्रिक्स और भागीदार देशों के सांसदों के बीच बातचीत की भी योजना है।
