Govt to Cover All Certification Costs For Micro, Small Exporters Under EPM

The Indian government will bear the entire cost of expensive certifications for micro and small enterprises under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM). Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal urged new and existing exporters to approach the Directorate General of Foreign Trade for support to access global markets. This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden of complying with international regulations, such as EU's CBAM and EUDR, which have been a concern for Indian exporters.

भारतीय सरकार एक्सपोर्ट प्रमोशन मिशन (ईपीएम) के तहत माइक्रो और स्मॉल एंटरप्राइजेज के लिए महंगे सर्टिफिकेशन की पूरी लागत उठाएगी। वाणिज्य मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने नए और मौजूदा निर्यातकों से ग्लोबल मार्केट तक पहुंचने के लिए सहायता हेतु डायरेक्टरेट जनरल ऑफ फॉरेन ट्रेड से संपर्क करने का आग्रह किया। इस पहल का उद्देश्य EU के CBAM और EUDR जैसे अंतर्राष्ट्रीय नियमों का पालन करने के वित्तीय बोझ को कम करना है, जो भारतीय निर्यातकों के लिए चिंता का विषय रहे हैं।
