A heritage cycle rally was organized in Mysuru as part of the Dasara celebrations, highlighting the importance of preserving the city's rich cultural and historical legacy. P. Shivaraj, Commissioner of the Department of Archaeology, Museums and Heritage, emphasized that safeguarding culture is a collective societal responsibility. He noted that Mysuru, as the cultural capital of Karnataka, boasts renowned traditions and historical significance, with the Dasara tradition itself originating under the Vijayanagara rulers.
