AB InBev India Growth Outpaces Beer Industry

AB InBev, the world's largest brewer, has surpassed India's beer market growth in the first half of the year, becoming one of Budweiser's top three global markets in June. Despite supply chain disruptions, the company achieved strong double-digit growth, driven by premiumisation and favourable regulatory changes in states like Maharashtra and Karnataka. AB InBev captured approximately 20% of the 20 million hectoliter market, significantly outperforming the industry's 12% growth.
