The incident occurred around 2:45 PM near Khetan Hospital, with the scooter being crushed under the bus's front tyre. The deceased, Tulsi Devi, was returning home when the accident happened. The bus driver, Rakesh Kumar, was apprehended by bystanders and handed over to the police. He claimed brake failure, but authorities are investigating the exact cause.
