CBSE Mandates Vocational Education for Class 9 Students, Revises Class 10 Board Exam Rules

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced new guidelines for Class 9 students starting the 2026-27 academic session, making vocational education compulsory. These revisions also update Class 10 board exam rules for students taking exams in 2027-28. Environmental Education will be removed from the Class 10 curriculum for this batch, while students gain options for advanced subjects. A minimum of 33% is required in the five subjects designated for board examinations.

सीबीएसई ने 9वीं के छात्रों के लिए वोकेशनल शिक्षा अनिवार्य की 10वीं बोर्ड परीक्षा के नियमों में भी किया बदलाव

सेंट्रल बोर्ड ऑफ सेकेंडरी एजुकेशन (CBSE) ने 2026-27 शैक्षणिक सत्र से 9वीं कक्षा के छात्रों के लिए नए दिशानिर्देश जारी किए हैं, जिसमें वोकेशनल शिक्षा को अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है। इन बदलावों से 2027-28 में परीक्षा देने वाले छात्रों के लिए 10वीं बोर्ड परीक्षा के नियमों को भी अपडेट किया गया है। इस बैच के लिए 10वीं के पाठ्यक्रम से पर्यावरण शिक्षा को हटा दिया जाएगा, जबकि छात्रों को उन्नत विषयों के विकल्प मिलेंगे। बोर्ड परीक्षाओं के लिए निर्धारित पांच विषयों में न्यूनतम 33% अंक आवश्यक होंगे।
